The first Macado’s restaurant was opened in 1978 by Richard Macher in downtown Roanoke, Virginia. It soon became popular for its eclectic ambiance of cartoon, antique, and local nostalgic decor, as well as its wide array of hearty yet modestly-priced sandwiches, subs, and entrees.
Popular with the college crowd, the restaurant opened additional locations near Virginia Tech, Radford University, and Roanoke College. Mashita features Korean inspired dishes that please and accommodate all, including those with gluten-free and vegetarian preferences. We cook and serve from our 1999 Chevrolet step van that has been converted into a fully mobile, commercial kitchen. We are experienced event and wedding caterers, as well as offering day-to-day meal options. Mashita is the food truck that means delicious!

Our Paella is served with garlic aioli sauce, a sauce made of olive oil, garlic, and lemon.
