Heifer Station Vineyard is located on the volcanic basalt slopes of Mt.Canobolas. Our grapes are grown with personal attention and care at an altitude between 860 - 900m.
Our Cellar is situated at the heart of the Highland Heritage Estate vineyard, from an extended 1949 Queensland rail carriage. The carriage was originally used on the suburban Brisbane rail network and has found a new life as part of our cellar door operation.
From the Cellar door the vista is expansive, overlooking the Gosling Creek valley towards the original "Wellwood" homestead that was constructed in the early 1840's. The now Highland Heritage Estate vineyard was once a part of the original "Wellwood" run.

From day one, Hog's Breath Cafe set out to be unlike any other restaurant.
