Initially, S.K.I. operated out of a relatively small 5,000 square-feet building located in Middle Village, Queens, with a total of ten employees. Over the next 6 years, continued growth necessitated a series of moves, first to a 25,000 square foot facility on Stewart Avenue in Brooklyn in 1991, followed by a second move in 1993 to its current 60,000 square foot location on Gardner Avenue in Brooklyn.
