Tony Groumoutis opened A&G steakhouse back in 1973. Born and raised in Greece, he left his beloved country after serving in the Greek army in search of a more prosperous life. With minimal English skills and even less money, he eventually found his way to Creston, Ia. It wasn't easy back in those days being the new guy from another country, especially in a small Midwestern town.
