Ever since homebrewing, I have liked the atmosphere of friends over while brewing a batch of beer. I also love the atmosphere of Thirsty Dog and the old Ohio Brewing - you can actually see the beer being made in the giant containers right before your eyes.
I am not really a 'bar guy' so I set out to create something different, something unique unlike the common bar. A place where you can interact with the brewers while having a fresh pint at the bar - to really know the people behind the beer.

Strickland's Frozen Custard was founded in 1936 by Bill and Florence Strickland. During his years as an Akron Pure Milk employee, Bill developed his own rich recipe of cream, eggs, sugar and other ingredients. With his formula perfected, Bill turned his attention to finding an ice cream machine that would quickly freeze the ice cream, while limiting the air whipped into the product.
