Who we are - Mr. Zub's Deli at The Matinee is a unique short order deli located in the eclectic Highland Square area of Akron, Ohio. We are not an ordinary sandwich shop. We go heavy on the quality meats and fresh veggies. Mr. Zub's grills our sandwiches (even though you can order them cold) and builds them just the way you like them. Upon relocating to Michigan, back to Chicago, then to Vermont, then to Connecticut, then to St. Louis area and finally in Ohio, I have noticed that the rest of the planet hasn't had the pleasure of a great tasting hot dog.
