Friendly Neighborhood Canteen in Olde Towne Spirit Lake with snacks, Tombstone and Heggies Pizzas, Nachos and of course our famous popcorn. Monday night hot dogs or hot sandwiches available. 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month we grill hamburgers.
We are a local establishment dedicated to the contributions of all servicemembers, their families and the general public who share in enjoying a beverage of their choice in a friendly atmosphere. We have various game machines, internet connected Juke Box, pool table, ATM and five flat screen TV'S for viewing sports, local information or whatever the patrons choose. We also host various events in support of the VFW local organizations, patrons and their guest and have local live entertainment at various times throughout the month.
Memorial Hall is also available for rent by contacting us. The Hall may be rented for birthdays, bands, receptions, garage sales, auctions etc for $50 for VFW/Aux. members and $100 for nonmembers. Full kitchen available for extra charge. Our Canteen is Open To The Public during normal business hours
