We make award winning sausages, and are artisan producers of award winnning Prodigal Daughter cured meats.
Returning from France and Italy as the Prodigal Daughter in 2011 I began to make cured meats and sausages. I now sell to restaurants, supermarkets and the general public.
Most of my products use Longbush Pork, all are nitrate free, 100% natural and chemical free. I cure with Lake Grassmere organic salt, spices, time and sometimes smoke.
In 2017 I entered some of my products in Outstanding NZ Food Producer competition and won two silver medals and a gold.
