Pecora Dairy was launched in September 2011 by the McNamara family. Their farm is situated in Robertson, the Green Heart of the Southern Highlands, within 100 miles of Sydney. In 2011 the dream of Michael and Cressida’s to produce wonderful artisan cheeses from their own ewes has finally come to fruition.
They started with a handful of pure East Friesian sheep 6 years ago. Since, they have increased their flock size with careful breeding and selection for the best producing ewes. Their flock is made up of Australia’s only exclusive pure East Friesian milking ewes.
