Bathurst Harness Racing Club is one of the state's largest and most successful harness racing clubs outside of metropolitan Sydney. Bathurst is centrally located within Central West NSW, with Dubbo 2 hours to the west, & Sydney 2.5 hours to the east. The Bathurst Harness Racing Club was launched as 'night' race meeting venue on 14 November 1953, and continues to enjoy a strong harness racing following & participation, with over 50 race TAB meetings hosted annually.
