Clark and Hopkins hot sauce brings flavors from across the globe right to your kitchen table. It all started on the tennis court, when Chef Brandon Clark was challenged by a tennis buddy from Kerala in southern India to create a hot sauce using the tastes of the Malabar Coast, a region rich in indigenous spice craft that somehow lacked its own version of hot sauce. The result was so outstanding that Brandon's tennis buddy exclaimed, “This tastes like home!”. He quickly realized there were many regions across the globe lacking an indigenous hot sauce.

Brandon went on to experiment with flavors from Thailand, Laos, Mexico, Maine, Vermont, Africa and further afield, in search of interesting new combinations. Our first official bottling begins at home with Chesapeake Bay, a flavor with a devout following throughout the US and across the pond. We like to call it “Elevated Essence of the Chesapeake”.

We are committed to bottling 100% all natural, “VA Finest” & gluten free hot sauce. Clark and Hopkins sauces contain organic and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Each batch of Clark & Hopkins sauce is freshly prepared personally by Chef Clark and our Virginia bottling partner, together specializing in authentic, high-end small batch gourmet sauce products inspired by the culinary traditions of cultures on every continent.
