For 90 Years, Schenck Foods Company has taken pride in serving the Winchester and surrounding communities with premium food products and superior service.

In 1928, Bob Schenck and Howard Cahill founded the Valley Food Company which manufactured Blossom potato chips.

Soon after, they began a distributor relationship with Kraft Foods, and the business expanded into the sale of retail food items, becoming the Schenck Cheese Company. We distributed within a 30-mile radius throughout the 1930s and 1940s.

In 1952, the company incorporated under the name Schenck Foods Company, Inc. The product line grew to include food service items to support institutional food customers. The second generation of family had begun with the leadership of Bill Huntsberry and Getty Schenck Huntsberry.

During the 1980s and 1990s, our facility expanded several times; and we began our affiliation with UniPro Foodservice Inc. -- the leading foodservice distribution network in America.

Jason Huntsberry now leads in the tradition of past generations. Today, the company continues to thrive with more than 7,000 items in stock. We are full-service distributor, complete with an outstanding commercial coffee and beverage service that can also special order to your needs. We also offer a full-service walk-up counter in our warehouse store on property 6 days a wee. We proudly serve more than 4,700 customers within a 120-mile radius of Winchester, Virginia.
