Sweet Smiles is owned and operated by Cindy Holloman. Cindy grew up in southern Pennsylvania and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in March of 1990 following her husband’s career. Cindy and her husband, Bob, spent many years traveling back and forth to the Blue Ridge Mountains searching for their perfect retirement home. After Bob’s retirement in 2013, they were compelled to live out their dreams in good ole Wilkes County.

Here at Tipton's, we pride ourselves on the use of the finest ingredients to cook our award winning BBQ. We only use the whole shoulder, the picnic gives you the most flavor. Our chicken is raised here in North Carolina and our use of select Hickory and Fruit wood give our barbecue its unique flavor. In the true Lexington Style, we serve our shoulder simply, with our secret "Dip" poured over it. Add one of our 3 table sauces to it if you wish: "Sweet and Smokey", "Smoke and Spice", or our eastern style vinegar sauce: "Tip's Vin"
