It all began on May 27, 1921 when Cecil Allen purchased a building at 1113 Calendonia Street. The current owner William Espe, is the grand nephew of Cecil and the Espe family has owned The Sweet Shop for over 92 years.
The Sweet Shop makes a fine assortment of homemade candies and ice cream. Some of our most popular candies include turtles, sea salt caramels, and maple creams. All our chocolates are top quality, hand made and hand dipped in house using only the finest milk and dark chocolate.
