The South Devon Chilli Farm (www.sdcf.co.uk) has been growing chillies since 2001. The business started at home, growing in a greenhouse and cooking in our home kitchen. We first started selling our products at farmers' markets. In 2005 we bought the farm and invested in a purpose-built commercial kitchen. In 2008, a cafe and farm shop building was added. We are open all year. We have a chilli demonstration area, plant nursery and play equipment.

The 16th Century Village Inn, complete with beams salvaged from Spanish Armada ships wrecked on the nearby coast, is a popular free house owned by the Grose family for more than a century and is where they first offered hospitality to visitors.
