Victor’s Barbecue and Lechon manok is one of the country’s pioneers of now the famous kapampangan dish, “Sisig”. Situated beside the Bus terminals at Dau, Mabalacat Pampanga, Mc Arthur Highway, Tarlac City. Before becoming to what is Victor’s right now, it all began with one person Victor Reyes in 1973 who hails in Angeles, Pampanga. At an early age he started selling Pork and Chicken Barbecue on a “Cariton” beside the terminals of Dau Pampanga to earn a living. As time went on he gained his loyal customers starting from bus passengers, drivers and the locals around Dau because of his very affordable price. At that time the dish called “Sisig” was already getting some attention so he decided to join the bandwagon and started making his own version of the said dish. Because of the unique mouth watering taste of his “Sisig”, he became more known in Pampanga and the rest of the nearby towns and provinces. In 1997 he decided to open a branch in Tarlac City to cater the demands of his customers from the north. And because of that the Victor’s Barbecue and Lechon Manok became more widespread reaching more provinces up the north as far as Ilocos.
