The Union Hotel is a venue full of surprises. Built in 1878, the Heritage-listed prominent corner hotel has always been a popular place to catch up with friends. Located in the heart of the Melbourne Racing precinct, the venue comprises several large and spacious areas catering from the individual all the way up to bookings of 150 or more.
From The Bistro Bar, serving lunch and dinner seven days a week, to The Locals Bar, where you can have a punt, or chat with a local expert, there’s a place for everyone. And then there’s The Other Bar, a room to step up in sophistication, and try the exotic things in life, like a special cocktail, or a fine wine. Then there is the indoor/outdoor Beer Garden with a retractable roof, where it’s party time 12 months a year.
The Union Hotel plays Hi-Definition Fox Sports feeds across several Big Screen TVs, making sure all of the big LIVE sporting events are covered. Live musicians and DJs entertain into the later hours on the weekends, as well as Trivia nights, TAB facilities, Sky Racing and a pool table provide entertainment for everyone.
