Trattoria Delia offers a true Italian gastronomic experience, using the freshest local edibles combined with the finest imported ingredients.

Trattoria Delia was established in 1993 by Thomas and Lori Delia. The restaurant celebrates Thomas' Italian heritage, with a focus on preserving the art of traditional Italian cuisine; his family originated from Oriolo, a small town in Calabria. The restaurant is located in the historic Vermont House originally a turn of the century hotel, the interior was once a working sugar house that was relocated from New Hampshire. The room's focal point is a large fireplace, made from local Panton stone.

The menu at Trattoria Delia reflects food traditions and the true flavors of Italy's various regions, the difficult task of researching the recipes has been done by numerous travels to Italy and through the owner's relatives. Authentic dishes are recreated using the finest imported ingredients available and locally foraged edibles, while working in partnership with local farmers to offer you the freshest and most wholesome Vermont grown foods.

At Trattoria Delia the ambiance is cozy, relaxing and casual. Upon opening the large heavy wooden door beautiful Italian music and opera can be heard. The dining room's focal point is a large Vermont Panton stone fireplace, which brings a romantic feel to the dimly lit tables, the ambiance combines large wood post & beams throughout, with accents of Italian pottery and photographs taken in Italy.
Trattoria Delia is a restaurant where the service is as high quality as the cuisine, where cooked to order specialties are served by our knowledgeable, award winning staff, in addition to an extensive Italian wine list that has been recognized by The Wine Spectator since 1995. A dining experience at Trattoria Delia will bring you a little closer to a true Italian gastronomic journey, without ever leaving Burlington.
