For decades the Horseshoe hotel has lived up to the true meaning of an ‘Inn’ offering comfortable rooms, fabulous local beer, great pub food and friendly welcoming to all. Today it continues just the way it always has with a few updates of course. There are six ensuite rooms, offering double or twin accommodation, a cosy bar with a log burning fire where you can enjoy a pint of local ale or choose from our good ole fashioned pub grub menu like our 16oz Gammon or homemade Steak & Ale Pie.

The Horseshoe Hotel is perfect base for the penultimate stopover on the coast to coast walk or for those visiting Whitby, a short train journey will take you to the centre of Whitby, traffic and parking free!

Our mission is to take care of everyone, whether you're here for a beer or staying over we'll do our best to make sure everything is has perfect as it should be.
