Smoked Down BBQ is an on-site catering company based in Kalamazoo, MI.
On-site catering means everything is prepared FRESH AT YOUR LOCATION.
Pit Master Toby Taverna (aka T2) is using a family BBQ sauce recipe created by his great grandfather and was served at his neighborhood bar during the 1930's. Toby has added some flavorful new “twists” for modern tastes to this time honored BBQ sauce and is proud to provide wood-cooked, quality BBQ for your very special occasion.
A personal consultation with Pit Master T2 customizes your menu to reflect the theme of your event— birthdays, retirement parties, corporate functions, graduation celebrations, weddings, or just a great get-together for friends or neighbors.
We arrive at your event and handle everything from set-up to clean-up so you can relax and enjoy time with your guests... and BBQ perfection!
You host the event at your location and we provide the food and entertainment. You set the menu: chicken, pork, ribs, brisket, prime rib, roast beef along with all the sides... and we even cover the plates, utensils, napkins & condiments needed. And since we are mobile, we travel throughout all of southwest Michigan.
We use the traditional wood-smoked method for BBQ using real Michigan cherry and apple woods.
Our custom built smokers are equipped with professional sound systems to deliver a unique party experience. While we are cooking on-site at your event your guests will enjoy dancing, singing, and fun provided by our live DJ and karaoke services. We also offer a variety of backyard games for your guests' enjoyment including, horseshoes, ladder ball, corn hole(bags), beer pong, croquet, bocci ball, volleyball/ badminton.
