Chef Cassandra Montgomery is a native New Orleanian who has spent 20 years in the hospitality industry. She graduated from Elgin Community College where she received her Culinary and Restaurant Management degree. Chef Montgomery’s Southern Louisiana culinary roots combined with her international experience is a gift she presents to her customers through every beautifully planned meal or event. Innovative cuisine, impeccable event execution, and exceptional customer service are the hallmarks of Chef Montgomery. As a child Cassandra learned the importance of cooking New Orleans Cajun/Creole cuisine using the freshest ingredients from her grandmother Ruth Ella Veal. Who inspired her passion for cooking before attending culinary school. Her strong curiosity of life and cultural customs motivated her to leave Louisiana and travel to Atlanta Ga, Chicago IL, Jamaica, Dominica Republic and France to experience as many different culinary environments possible. Her goals is to share her cuisine throughout Northern Illinois though mobile food vending in hopes to share her love and passion she has for food.
