Ostiones Guerrero, SA de CV was the very first private business in Baja California, Mexico to be granted a federal permit for oyster farming 25 years ago. The company has a 40 year history of managing commercial fishing operations that today includes 3 generations of family members working in the business. The company was formed and headed by Reyes Guerrero Sandoval, born in Baja California and who has grown to become an innovative leader in the regional fishing industry today. He was a pioneer in developing eco-friendly business practices to protect the local coastal ecosystems and remains the only local producer managing multiple aquaculture operations for a variety of species to help protect the populations of local native marine species. His commitment and vision will help preserve the local pristine Pacific coastline to continue providing premium marine products for generations to come.
