Merchants Manor - A grown up spa hotel that is a home away from home, a place to relax, pamper and recharge

Merchants Manor

Merchants Manor Spa Hotel has been a staple of Falmouth’s tourism offering, one of Cornwall’s most thriving and exciting maritime towns, for more than 100 years.

The hotel is run by husband and wife Nick Rudlin and Sioned Parry-Rudlin. Since buying the hotel in October 2012 they have commenced carefully restoring the historic and much-loved hotel.

The hotel, complete with beautiful sub-tropical garden, is also an exciting licensed wedding venue and can look after up to 200 guests in the ballroom. The versatile space is also ideal for corporate events. The new state of the art fitness centre (opening in January 2014) features the latest high spec gym equipment and complements the hotel’s wider wellbeing offering; in-room treatments, 13m heated swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi.

Merchants Manor is steeped in history and it is the family’s intention to firmly establish it as one of Cornwall’s leading country hotels by the sea, combining traditional charm with the town’s nautical history.

A fabulous food offering

Big flavours, local produce and homemade favourites converge in Merchant Manor’s Brasserie. At the helm of the kitchen is locally renowned chef Dale McIntosh. With experience of heading up the kitchens of some of Cornwall’s most exciting bistros and gastro pubs, Dale has well and truly stamped his mark and created one of Falmouth’s most sought-after menus.

Naturally with a hotel so close to the sea, the Brasserie’s menu features the freshest Cornish fish alongside the highest quality local meat and game. As well as an evolving specials board, fine wines and cocktails, the hotel also freshly bakes all of its bread. The hotel’s restaurant is also open to non-guests.
