KUNDALUNA
Il Kundaluna è un locale nuovo, situato a S.Martino in Valmasino. Nasce da un’idea di Andrea Barbieri e prende il nome dalla fusione di “Risveglio di Kundalini” e “Luna nascente” due storiche vie d’arrampicata della Val di Mello.
E’ davvero un locale “nuovo”: Andrea ed Elia, scalatore, stilista e dj uno, coltivatore e allevatore l’altro lasciano la città natale Milano per inseguire il loro sogno, un locale, un bar, che con tanto amore e passione avrebbero trasformato in un luogo di ritrovo per tutti coloro che vogliono passare una serata diversa e mai scontata, in cui si sarebbero fuse le loro due grandi passioni: la montagna e la musica! Questo sogno si chiama Kundaluna!
Le proposte del bar e della piccola cucina puntano tutto sulla qualità, offrendo la mattina colazioni con dolci fatti in casa, yogurt di produzione locale, brioches salate etc. e la sera aperitivi e cocktails sempre di grande qualità, con una cura tutta speciale per l’ospite che qui davvero si sente coccolato!
Kundaluna è anche luogo di ritrovo per gli scalatori con una piccola biblioteca specializzata che con il tempo si arricchirà sempre di più e nella quale è possibile consultare le guide d’arrampicata e il punto informazioni delle Guide Alpine della Val di Mello.
Ma soprattutto… Kundaluna è musica!! Tutti i finesettimana concerti live, dj set, performance artistiche di vario genere sono di casa, e una volta al mese l’appuntamento è con la Notte Abusiva, la serata alternativa in collaborazione con Alex De Simoni del Circo Abusivo.

Kundaluna is a new place, located in S. Martino Valmasino, in the Valtellina area of Northern Italy. It was born from an idea of Andrea Barbieri, with its name a fusion of “Risveglio di Kundalini” and “Luna Nascente”, two historic climbing routes of nearby Val di Mello.
It’s really a ‘new’ place: Andrea and Elia, climber, designer and DJ the first, farmer the latter, both left their native town Milano to pursue their dream, a location, a bar that, with a lot of passion, they have transformed in a meeting place for whom wants to spend an always different and original evening, where their two great passions, music and mountain, would come together. Their dream is called Kundaluna!
The bar and the small kitchen focus on high quality, offering homemade cakes, locally produced yoghurts, salty brioches etc. for breakfast and carefully prepared aperitifs and cocktails the evening. All with a trademark attention for the guest that always feels well taken care of!
Kundaluna is also a meeting place for climbers, with a small specialized library that will grow with time and were it is possible to check climbing guides and interact with the local climbing guides.
But, more than anything, Kundaluna is music!! Every weekend it hosts live concerts, DJ sets, artistic performances and once a month there is the unforgettable event of the “Notte Abusiva”, the alternative evening in collaboration with Alex De Simoni of Circo Abusivo.
