"DURING'S started in October 10, 1996 in San Joaquin, Pasig as a small barbecue stall, selling mostly grilled, barbecued meats and drinks. The name During's was borrowed from the owner, Ronnie Lacsina's mother. The Lacsina couple wanted to to emphasize the restaurant's mission of serving home-cooked, family-styled meals and what better way to do this but to have a motherly trade name. Soon enough, word got out that the pork barbecue of During's is one of the best in the area, that the couple decided to put up a bigger branch where groups and families can come and enjoy the food amidst trees, a lagoon and a setting that makes them feel like they were out of town. During's and its delicious home-cooked dishes can also be experienced at all Banchetto outlets (Shopwise, Libis on Tuesdays, The Forum at Pioneer on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and Emerald Street in Ortigas every Fridays) During's BBQ & Restaurant is located at 5 M. Jimenez St., Kalawaan, Pasig. To get there, take the C5 southbound elevated u-turn, turn right going towards Pasig and Pateros; go straight approximately 2 km, you will pass by Shell, Caltex, Puregold, and Petron to your right; go pass through the stoplight, passing Mcdonald's on your left, Meralco on both sides; upon reaching Eastern Petroleum on your left, make a turn (left) and 50 meters to your right is During's.
