Nourishing our Community. Farmers & Artisans bring their locally grown and hand-made goods downtown to you!

TheDowntown Crescent City Farmers & Artisans Market kicks off the 2018 season on Wednesday, May 30.

The weekly event is located on Front & K streets, operating between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays through October.
"This popular event brings high-quality, produced items to the downtown district," organizers said in a news release. "Vendors offer a variety of Items that include locally grown produce, handmade craft items, ready-to-eat food, and more."

With a goal of “farm fresh for every fork,” the market accepts SNAP-EBT benefits, and several vendors also accept Open Door Clinic vouchers. The Downtown Crescent City Farmers & Artisans Market also participates in the Market Match program that provide SNAP-EBT participants who spend SNAP dollars, a match up to $30 per market day, which can be used to purchase more locally grown fruits and vegetables.

Each week Keith Jones brings music and entertainment to the market.

"Rain or shine, we welcome the community to join us at the Downtown Crescent City Farmers & Artisans Market as we shop, eat, and mingle in downtown Crescent City," organizers said.
