At Caramba, we believe the food always speaks for itself. We specialize in local, Mexican, Caribbean and American cuisines.
Enjoy your meal in our air-conditioned dining room, or 'people watch' on our outside bar seating area. We have a fully-stocked bar and several flatscreen TV's to enjoy your favorite show/event/movie over lunch, dinner and/or drinks!
In late 2013, we redesigned our dining room and added many new entrees and items to our menu selection. We urge you to also check out our new drink & dessert menu!
Note from the Owner (Rene Reyes, Sr.):
As a child, I always had a dream of opening my own business. Growing up in a tiny village in Orange Walk Town, Belize, I found it difficult to achieve all my dreams and aspirations there. I came to San Pedro in 1987, but after working for other restaurants and resorts, I still was not satisfied.
In 1993, I married my wife, Ms. Ana Patricia Reyes and, together, we opened our own fruit shop. While this venture was successful, it is not what I envisioned long term. After several years, I decided to pursue my real dream of opening my own restaurant.
To boost my experience in the food and beverage industry, I temporarily moved to South Beach, Miami, where I obtained skills while working my way up in the industry. When I returned to San Pedro, I finally realized my lifelong dream and, in 2002, Caramba! was born.
Through my passion, Patricia’s hard work, the diligence of our staff, and with the loyalty of our customers, Caramba! became very successful in a short period of time. Today, Caramba! remains a family-owned business with our two sons, Renesito and Jonathan, now actively involved in the day-to-day operations.
