Paul's Motor Inn is an iconic landmark in downtown Victoria. Built in 1972, it is recognized by its '70's concrete construction, its shiny copper roofand what was at one time the largest plastic sign in North America! It has 75 rooms in total, some of which are located in a secluded courtyard. Attached to the hotel is Paul's Diner. A funky sixties style diner dedicated to great home cooking and great service.

We set forth in the autumn of 2012 to see the world, two humans and three dogs. Our intrepid leader was Poncho. His nose was our compass pointing us to the cafes of Spain, Germany, Italy, France, the United States, Mexico and Guatemala. All fell under the spell of Poncho as we all followed his quest to savour the best espresso on the planet. Poncho was lauded and declared “the Most Interesting Dog in the World” by all.
