The historic Pine Tavern was started in 1927, with old state Route 221 running behind the restaurant. Originally, the Pine Lodge served meals in their lobby. The fare was similar to what you can find in today's Pine Tavern. Most of our recipes are from Mama Nell, my grandmother. These recipes were tested by me every Sunday for over 25 years in a small town, much like Floyd, in the shadow of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We hope that the same feeling of family, hospitality, history, and heritage is imparted to our guests.
The Sun Music Hall & Cultural Arts Center is dedicated to offering diverse and superb performance art. We recognize the importance of the arts in our society and are deeply devoted to the preservation and continuation of live performance art.
Villa Appalaccia is a Virginia Farm Winery. We started growing Italian varietals in 1988 and opened the winery in 1995. We try to provide a relaxing environment with great wines and local bread and cheese plates.
