Welcome to the Doric Bar and Restaurant, Edinburgh's oldest gastro pub. Built in the 17th Century and adapted to become a pub in the 18th century when everything was homemade and locally sourced. Today, we are no different, our produce is still sourced locally from many of the smaller, more specified and more reputable suppliers. Our butcher, John Gilmour, only supplies meat to a few select places in Edinburgh. The menu consists of traditional Scottish dishes such as Haggis, our famous Cullen Skink, and fine food with influences from around the world.
