The enigmatic Hairy Lemon Pub was christened in memory of one of the city’s great characters who was a dog catcher in the 1950’s.The Hairy Lemon is based in the centre of Dublin and located in the Creative Quarter in Dublin 2. This traditional Irish pub resides in a 19th century house and is just about as unconventional as it’s namesake. The Hole in the Wall was established in 1651, but has been run by the Mc Caffery family for over 40 years; over the years there has been a big change with the extension of the bar which now boasts a fantastic wine shop and a 60+ seated restaurant. Music is every Tuesday and Saturday night, we offer an early bird menu running from 2pm - 6.30pm Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday. We also pride ourselves on the fact that we were the first bar/restaurant to offer a NO Corkage policy throughout the premises.
