Thanks to our friends at the Nationwide Auto Group in New Jersey, our truck is equipped with a state of the art kitchen, comparable to a 5 star restaurant, making it possible for us to be versatile with the menus we serve. Although we are focused on supplying the food needs of the gas and oil workers in the Northeast PA region, we are also equipped to cater parties, fairs and other events requiring great tasting food at reasonable prices. Unlike most "traditional" mobile food vendors who limit themselves to serving only one type of food, The Rig prides itself on being versatile in the types and styles of foods we serve. Our current menus consist of but are not limited to, Traditional American, Italian, Mexican, and Island Latino foods.
Our experienced staff is overseen by a certified chef who has been in the food industry for over 18 years and has been trained in preparing International foods, allowing for some of the most authentic ethnic dishes to be prepared and served from our truck.
Our high standards of quality foods, food safety, and cleanliness raise us above and apart from the average "food truck".
Our staff have all been through ServSafe® training and certification supplied by the
National Restaurant Association and is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP) insuring that YOU, the customer, will always be served the freshest food that was prepared with your utmost safety in mind.
