Parmareggio was founded in 1983 in Montecavolo di Quattro Castella, in the area Parmigiano Reggiano originated from, in the Northern Italy. Parmareggio became a world leader in the production and sale of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese over just a few years. Parmareggio seasons and package Parmigiano Reggiano, grated or in portions. Moreover, with our modern butter factory, we became also producer and leader of the Italian market Butter, with our Parmareggio Butter, made with prestigious cream coming from the dairies that produce Parmigiano Reggiano PDO.
The mission of Parmareggio is to meet consumers requirements with high quality and innovative products, enhancing value of the shareholders’ products. Indeed, Parmareggio is a company of the Granterre-Parmareggio Group, a Cooperative of farmer and dairies which work their milk to produce Parmigiano Reggiano.
