Nunton Steadings -
A venue for Local Artisans to display and sell their work. Cafe/Bar serving light meals and drinks. Functions and Theme Nights held.
Nunton Steadings is an 18th century building located 1 mile south of Balivanich in Benbecula, Outer Hebrides.
It was opened in June 2015 by Heather Howie as a Tea Room and Craft Shop displaying and selling work by Local Artists.
The Tea Room has a simple menu of light snacks, home baking and drinks.
Friendly atmosphere and toys available to keep little ones entertained.
At present there are 18 contributing Artisans with a wide range of Handicrafts ranging from Jewellery to Paintings.
We would welcome more Local Artists to join in the venture, and encourage workshops to showcase their talents with the community and visitors to the island.
The stock is constantly changing, so please do visit frequently to see what is on offer.
Nunton Steadings also has a Function Hall with Bar available to hire for private events.
Weddings, Parties, Funerals, Music Performances, whatever the event- we can cater to individual requirements.
There are many planned events that take place within Nunton Steadings ranging from Popular Quiz Nights to Curry-oke and Bar evenings where you can enjoy your Pub favourites and play a wee game of Cards, Darts or Dominoes. There is also a Pool Table.
