We serve a range of wots made from traditional Ethiopian recipes shared by our family and friends in Addis Ababa. The wots are accompanied by golden rice, gently enriched with turmeric, cinnamon and cloves, and/or injera.
Our sweet treats are also inspired by Ethiopian flavours and include mocha brownies, cardamom shortbread, zesty lemon slice and chocolate cardamom bites.
Drinks include Ethiopian espresso coffee, iced coffee and a range of soft drinks.
We create delicious, nutritious, vegetarian dishes and offer vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options.
We run a kind kitchen; our packaging and take-away containers are plant based, recyclable and kind to the environment. We plan our menus around the use of local and seasonal ingredients where practical, and include organic and Fair Trade produce. Our coffee is sourced from Ethiopia, where the first coffee bush was discovered more than a thousand years ago. The organic coffee beans are supplied through a Fair Trade farmers’ cooperative and profit returned to these farmers helps to build and run schools and healthcare centres in Ethiopia.
