Lovingly handcrafted ice cream and Belgian frites. Located in Astoria's 14th St. Pilot Station, on the beautiful Riverwalk.

We make all of our ice cream in our little riverside shop. We use 40% heavy cream, whole milk, Jacobsen salt, cane sugar or brown sugar and egg yolks to make a French-style custard. We flavor that custard with housemade ingredients (such as fruit curds, toffee, caramel, pecan brittle and marshmallow creme), then we churn it in our Emery-Thompson batch freezer. After a night in the deep freeze, it's ready to scoop! We make ice cream all year round.

For our Belgian Frites we buy Kennebec potatoes. They are cut to 3/8", rinsed and soaked in cold water, air-dried, then fried once at a low temperature. They are then cooled, and fried a second time when ordered, so that they are very crispy on the outside with a very soft and creamy interior.

We think our snacks are pretty tasty, and we hope you do too!

Because we make everything from scratch, it is very labor intensive to make all of our treats every week. That means we are often here early in the morning and late at night, just to keep up with the demand for our creations. We prefer to stay small and create everything ourselves, rather than hire a production staff. This way we are able to control the quality of every scoop of ice cream and every frite.

We chose our business hours very carefully, to ensure that our wonderful employees are able to get home to their families at a reasonable hour every evening. They work extremely hard, so it is the healthiest choice for our staff.

We realize that our hours may not be convenient for all of our customers, but they work best for us. Thank you!
