Come in for a cuppa with ADEC at either our Goshen, Indiana or Middlebury Indiana (801 Wayne Street) locations. We promise you'll have a great time.

Through an innovative business model, our Gaining Grounds coffee shops encourage reverse integration by inviting the community into day service locations for adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities.

The shops are staffed by people with developmental and cognitive disabilities and serve as training centers for ADEC Employment Services clients who are interested in becoming a barista.

The two full service coffee shops serve fresh roasted coffee from Hemisphere Coffee (farmer direct). All mixed coffee drinks are made exclusively with Big Train products—high quality mixes with the freshest ingredients. Store menus are fairly basic since baristas can craft any coffee drink imaginable. Just pick a type of drink from the board and request whatever flavor you currently crave.

The shops boast pleasant seating areas with room to play games or host groups. For example, The Shoots location in Goshen serves as home base for a friendly Euchre game each Wednesday. If your group is looking for a new place to meet, e-mail Toni Richards at richardst@adecinc.com.
