A-Town Roots is a Community Arts Company, growing Athens’ arts and entertainment markets through creative events, advertising, and any other form of artistic expression – while promoting social responsibility.

In 2013 A-Town Roots began as the festival production company responsible for organizing ColorDance Music & Arts Festival, but since has grown to incorporate much more into its business. For example, A-Town Roots has taken on new projects such as merchandising, organizing art galleries, creative advertising via collaborative murals, and educating the student population on responsible partying. Business associates range from nationally recognized talent agencies and production companies, to Ohio University student groups, as well as local businesses, artists, and entertainers. This great network allows A-Town Roots to be recognized on a large scale and still function as a community arts company in its efforts to preserve the communal art scene that makes Athens, OH so special.
