Family recipes that have been passed down for generations are made with fresh ingredients and care. Our hand made pizza dough is cooked in our brick oven with the freshest and highest quality ingredients. We don't have a microwave or premixed dish in our kitchen. Every dish, soup and dessert is made and plated to order. Feel free to let us know how we can make your experience more delicious and specific to your dietary need.
After 40 years in the restaurant business, in both the quick service, canteen and catering arenas, our family decided to create a restaurant that focused on things we love, first and foremost, cousin Jeff's Hickory Smoked Pulled Pork Barbecue. Another was good homemade Ice Cream. So in October, 2002, the Smokehouse, as it has come to be known, opened for business in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. And, the good folks of Wilkes County and the surrounding region have helped us grow the business every year since!

Elsewhere on 10th is a small, casually elegant, farm-to-table restaurant nesting in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. We offer freshly baked artisan breads and prepare all of our foods in-house from ingredients derived as locally and seasonally as possible.
