I am a self taught cook, BBQ is my specialty. I consider myself to be fairly traditional when it comes to cooking. I lean towards the North Carolina style of BBQ, which means a dry rub for cooking, with a nice finishing sauce, hickory wood, and mustard or vinegar based sauces. No ketchup round here.
I can cook everything from brisket to spaghetti, and nearly anything in between. If I don't know how, I will teach myself. I am also developing a love for Mexican and Asian cooking.
