Lake City Cakes is owned by the mother and daughter team of Laurie Bailey and Andria Howes. Laurie is a long time resident of North Idaho. She spent many years growing up in the Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls and Silver Valley areas. After returning to the area with her family in 2000, Laurie decided to pursue her dream of owning her own cake decorating business with the help of her daughter Andria. Together they have won multiple awards and brought smiles to the faces of many local families with their cake decorating talents.
Our range of tasty BBQ entrees and side dishes are all prepared and cooked on site. The secret is in the heat and we apply it using one of the 3 industrial class commercial smokers in the cabin. These smokers include a large, wood fired rotisserie that burns only the highest quality apple wood from the Okanogan Valley. Our sauces and rubs are all hand made with a special blend of ingredients that uniquely complement our "choice" quality meats.
