Located in leafy Blackwood, the gateway to the Adelaide Hills, The Belair Hotel was established in 1869 by Robert Burfield, and formerly known as The Blackwood Inn.
Most recently updated in 2009 and winning Australia's Best Bistro (AHA) in 2010 & 2011, The Belair Hotel continues to strive to provide a range of dining, drinking and entertainment options to cater to the needs of the local community, and visitors to the popular Adelaide Hills region. Our name, Artisan, was chosen to reflect the qualities, along with those we endeavor to find in our suppliers, which describe our business. Artisan has, contemporarily, come to describe skilled craftsmen producing small quantities of high quality product, using traditional methods. Thus, as far as possible, our food and beverages are created from scratch, on the premises, by qualified tradespeople, using time honoured production methods.
