It all started in 1860 with Joseph Marr and we’re proud to say that the business is still owned and operated by the Marr family.

Nowadays The Ice Co° has grown to become Europe’s largest ice manufacturer thanks to the hard work of five generations of the family.

We make superior ice products to exacting standards using 100 per cent pure and hygienic fully automated production systems, and our ice is completely untouched by human hands.

We are certified to the British Retail Consortium's manufacturing accreditation to Grade-A standard, so you can be assured of our processes.

We can also supply natural mineral water from our very own Blue Keld spring. The crystal clear waters are naturally filtered through rocks over many years eventually bubbling up to the surface.

Still, sparkling or flavoured water can be delivered alongside our ice products.
