Built in 1953 of native stone and hand-hewn chestnut logs, Smokey Shadows is a rustic country lodge with all charm and character of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Smokey Shadows is open year round. This is the perfect setting for your special occasion, holiday celebration, or just an escape to spend some quiet reflecting hours. As gracious hosts we will be most happy to accommodate you and your needs.

We are located just 30 minutes west of Asheville and border the Blue Ridge Parkway which runs through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
