The Elephant House sausage range was launched in Sri Lanka in 1966. The secret recipe
coupled with a secret sauce caught on like wildfire and pretty soon the whole country was
overcome by this new craving for Elephant House Sausages. Chicken/Beef Cocktails,
Beef Breakfast, Devilled Beefers, Salami and Frankfurters were some delicious products
we had back then at The fountain cafe colombo.

As time went on so did the demand for juicy succulent Elephant House Sausages. Today, Elephant House Sausages holds market leadership in the premium sausage segment thanks to the authenticity maintained throughout the years by the experts at Elephant House Sausages.

Our current inventory includes Beef Sausages, Chicken Sausages, Pork Sausages, Pawkies and Pork Lingus ranging from 150g to 1Kg packs. We have also launched 5 new variants to give you greater options to choose from. Our new variants include Bacon Whopper Sausages, Spicy Pork Sausage, Spicy Sizzle, Pork Sensation and Chicken Bratwurst. These pre-cooked sausages enable you to be creative in how you cook your sausages and serve your Elephant House Sausages.

In 2005 we moved our offices from The Colombo Cold Stores to Ja Ela to serve you better and create a central hub for our wide distribution network.

The legacy of Elephant House sausages continues today as our lab experts constantly look for new ways to provide you with new and exciting variants to keep those taste buds busy and have confessed that they refuse to stop until every Sri Lankan has indulged in an Elephant House Sausage.
