Welcome to Saxtys!

Originally opened in 1977 and running in various forms since then, we are an independent venue for drinkers, eaters and those looking for a quality late night out in the city. We are a family run business with several generations in the licensed trade and strong roots in Herefordshire.

Our bar opens at Midday on selected days of the week and we have a great range of Premium Beers and Ciders on tap and in bottles.

Add to this a massive selection of spirits including bottle rices on certain products and an even bigger list of wines and champagnes including all the leading Champagne names... and there's enough here to keep even the most discerning drinker happy!

We have four bars in total, our front bar by the restaurant, our Library Bar where all the action is at weekends, the Champagne Bar which is the perfect place for a VIP area and our Garden bar & BBQ, open on weekend nights.

Our Restaurant serves food from 12pm right through until 9pm on our selected opening days. Children are welcome in the Restaurant throughout the week. We have menus for everything from side orders and snacks to the full three courses. All our menus and recipes are our own and prepared in house by our team of trained chefs.

On Friday and Saturday nights we open as a late night bar / club from 11pm until 2/3am. Our resident DJs take over bringing you funky house, R & B, old skool tunes and commercial dance. On Saturday nights we also welcome "InDeep" in the Front Bar with their deep and soulful house vibes. On Bank Holiday Sunday nights we open the club until 4am for those with the stamina for a seriously long weekend!

We welcome parties and people wanting to celebrate, whatever the occasion, we have a choice of two function rooms and a range of extras, buffet menus and drinks deals. We aim to treat every party or event individually and pride ourselves on making the occasion special for you. We even cater for Weddings! Please contact us for further details!

All this and we also have an independent Wine Shop right next door, with a great range of wine, port and champagne and a huge range of interesting spirits. Alongside this is our online Wine Delivery Service so you can enjoy our wines at home or for your outside event. Our sister business - NSA event bars - runs bars and shows all over the uk. (We like to keep busy.)
