Las Galeras Hotel is a brand new hotel (built in 2016) with all comodities (A/C, free Wifi, Swimming pool...) located in a quiet and secure street at a few meters from Playa Grande and main street where you will find local supermarkets restaurants, bars, local and discos.

Las Galeras is a small and authentic fisherman's village nestled at the end of Samaná's bay. The beauty of its secluded and unspoiled beaches makes of Las Galeras a little paradise at less than 4 hours drive from Santo Domingo.

There is a wide range of excursions departing from the village. By land or by boat, you will discover the gorgeous beaches that surround the village such as Playa Rincón, one of the top ten's most famous beaches of the world, or the two jewels surrounded by crystal clear waters that are Playa Frontón with its stunning black cliff, white sand and coconut trees, or Playa Madama where you will enjoy snorkeling and privacy.
At a few minutes of walk you will reach Playita, the beach where local kids like spending some time after school. At the end of main street you will be amazed by Playa Grande and it's small island, you will realize you are at the very end of the bay... and in the post card of your dreams!

If you wish to visit more of the region, you must see the picturesque road that leads to the amazing beach of El Valle, head to the refreshing waters of El Limón waterfall after a short horseback ride, take a tour to Los Haïtises National Park with its mangrove and caves or see the humpback whales parading in the waters of the bay during their annual migration, all of these will make of your stay an unforgettable memory!
