l’Oriental is an Ottawa based event catering and prepared food business that offers you gourmet Halal Egyptian, Middle Eastern, and International food made with quality fresh ingredients.
We specialize in gourmet Halal catering services for your special events; offering full-course meals of appetizers and salads, entrées, and dessert. You can choose from our ready menus or custom-make your own. We also specialize in party snacks and finger foods like canapés, patés, puffs, rolls, cups, mini sandwiches, mini deserts, cupcakes, and other creative items. Catering requests must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.
Our Halal prepared food line of business provides you with weekly meals delivered right to your door. Food is fully cooked, always prepared fresh on the same day and never frozen. It is packaged in commercial grade aluminum or plastic containers and typically serves 4 to 6 people. Food containers are 30cm X 24cm.
We also cater for business lunches and corporate events, weddings, baby and bridal showers, birthdays, and parties anywhere in the National Capital Region. Choose from one of our menus or create your own custom menu. You can also add our special order items like Leg of Lamb, Turkey, Tuna Toast Cake, and Grapevine Leaves to add extra elegance and flair to your event.
Food is prepared and cooked in a commercial and health-inspected kitchen and all our staff are City of Ottawa certified food handlers. We accept cash, personal checks, paypal and major credit cards.
We run a fairly flexible business and can usually accommodate your special needs and dietary requirements, like low sodium, low sugar, etc – just let us know.
We provide dinnerware, flatware, cutlery, and chafing dishes for rent.
