Kildares Ale House is the fourth location for the Mill Group Pub Co. in Calgary. With the need for a place in Silverado to go and enjoy not just spirits, but also great food, we were excited to open a pub that fits the area.
We are a customer driven company that is committed to every facet of service, we bring you Kildares with an atmosphere built on quality, attentive and caring staff and above all other, food and spirits made with the highest quality ingredients and prepared by a committed culinary team.
Every name should come with a history this is ours…
At Kildares Ale House we have tried to introduce the new Irish pub, void of thousands of pictures you see at every other Irish pub around and a sea of similar mill work. We created a pub with three distinct areas with completely different finishes and used old architectural features such as a spider transom door dating back to 1880’s, chandeliers in our raised area recovered from a late Victorian mansion and our stone fireplace was built using full stones that were chiselled down by hand, an art that is almost dead with the introduction of stone veneers that are over used in today’s building trade. All three of our fireplaces will burn birch throughout the cold winter nights. Our entire south side windows fold open onto a warm south facing patio covered in cedar trellis overlooking the southern foothills.
