Izzy's Place is a American style Bistro and Pizzeria located on Hwy 67 in Prescott, AR.
As a young man, I (Jeremy) spent countless holidays, summers, spring breaks and so on in my Gran Gran Izzy's Kitchen. Though it may not have been the most organized kitchen, she sure knew her way around it! From what I would have sworn was absolutely nothing to eat, she could create the most delicious meal that could be found nowhere else than Gran Gran's table. along with a big glass of her nearly famous sweet tea "sigh"..the good ole' days I tell ya. Reared through the Great Depression, in a family of 7 Izzy only knew cooking from scratch and sticking to the basics. These same techniques and fundamentals is where I draw my inspirations and growing love for cooking today. As a young man, and working my way through college, I wore many hats in the restaurant industry; from the dish pit to the kitchens and dining rooms of some of the finest eateries in Central Arkansas. I strove at fine tuning the skill set that my Gran Gran had instilled in me. As we are approaching our 1 year anniversary, I am pleased in how much we have grown and overcome. We work daily to better ourselves so that we may serve our guest the best food we know how... Just like Gran Gran Izzy would do! Thank you for the support and patronage of so many!
